I didn’t purchase the War Games map pass just to find out that this pitiful excuse for a developer, 343i, -Yoinked!- up and made it to where everyone is able to get the first map pack free. I want one of two things to happen:

  1. Players that received free DLC have it revoked (which I’m assuming is going to happen)
  2. I receive 667 MSP in my account for compensation.

What’s it going to be 343?

Microsoft is solely responsible for this screw up. They control all DLC and pricing on XBL even though 343 is a division of Microsoft. I bought the Season Pass as well so I’ll wait and see what happens.

So how did players get the map pack for free? Assuming it was a glitch then I’m guessing it’s been fixed but was it simply available via the online store?

I bought the map pack on release day and already downloaded Crimson but still curious about what happened.

seems as though only in the halo 4 game itself in the marketplace the pass is registered as free

I want 1200 points because I bought the LE and there’s nothing limited about it… I actually felt scammed, just give me 1200 points so I can buy the BF3 map pack

Dude I purchased the limited edition just for the season pass, and it doesn’t even work and now you’re telling me that people are getting it for free WTF how come loyal fans who pay extra get -Yoink- on? also does anyone elses season pass not work?

I was doubly screwed. Bought the map pack not knowing that it already came with my LE. But what isn’t working for you? I was able to download it over lunch.

We better get something, I sold borderlands 2 and AC3 so I could get the LE, which now feels like a total wast of money!

Yea in the LE its the same code for the season pass as it is for the specializations and assault rifle skins which i have but i’ve seen how you are supposed to download it and it says i cant because i haven’t got the season pass.

I tell you, my jimmies will never know peace from this eternal rustling.

I paid 800 points for it this morning, and already had it downloaded before I headed out to work. I got it this morning because I didn’t want to run into an issue with traffic after work. So I’m out $10 and would like a refund if it is in fact “free”.

Oh, shut the hell up and stop being so butt hurt. You saved 5 freakin’ dollars for a map-pack.

You do realize that season passes for games charge you for 3 DLCs and the 4th free, right? You save 25% versus buying them solo. 343i and Microsoft makes you save 5 bucks, that’s HALF a DLC. Just because someone saved 5 more dollars than you did, you’re freakin’ butt hurt? If they want the other 2 map packs, they have to pay 20 bucks for them in total. Stop bellyaching, holy crap.
