Refund and re-purchase?

Hello,

So I was wondering w/ ATN not being included in the season pass, what exactly is stopping me from refunding my 67 euro purchase (i believe i bought it as a pre-order) and then re-purchasing it with the complete edition. If I’m correct I should be able to refund it up to 2 years after purchase.

Besides this, I thought there were going to be 2 story-mode packs included in the season pass, am I wrong, or is 343 late?

Morals

Depends on laws and whatnot, especially on the country any digital laws fall under. Under the EU I’m not sure on.
343i said a campaign expansion, they didn’t really say 2 of them.

They messed up the timing of the announcement of ATN imo. They should have shown off the last of the season pass DLC (Yay Yap) as well as Operation Stormbreaker before advertising the new expansion. That being said, they only ever said the season pass was going to include one campaign extra, not two.

Believing and knowing are two different things.

You should brush up on your consumer rights.

Self service refunds should be available from Microsoft now, but there are some conditions attached:

  • Games and apps are only eligible for refunds within two weeks of purchase if you have less than 2 hours of usage across all accounts on that device. - DLC, season passes, and DLC are not eligible for self-service refunds. - The game or app must be downloaded and launched at least once before requesting a self-service refund. - You must wait at least one day after the game or app’s launch before requesting a refund. - Certain Windows 10 apps may not be eligible for a self-service refund. Presumably at developer’s requests. If you bought the game from a retailer, then you would have to contact them and see what they say.
