So, I was looking through my helmets and I noticed there’s a reflection of a room in the visor.

look closely at the visor as I turn it and you’ll be able to make out the room.
Video of it. I was just curious of two things.
- Is this a room in 343’s studios?
- What is that object in the middle that looks like a face?

I think it is just some random room aboard the Infinity. I think that “face” that you speak of is another Spartan helmet in front of your character.

Just thought it was interesting. It looks too photorealistic to be even cgi. The look of the room is also that of just a normal room so that’s why I assumed it was just of somewhere in their studio. The face looks really freaky

It definetely looks like a photo rather than a rendered reflection, it’s really weird.
I noticed this too. It’s easiet to see with the Nightfall helmet.

I’m pretty sure it’s cortana, but I have no clue on the background. Try looking at it withe the expedition visor.

In the VFX world, it’s normal for a “reflection” on an object that isn’t actually in an environment (I.e. Your Spartan’s helmet in the menus) to be generated with a random image, because there is nothing there to reflect. You’ll see something similar if you look at the billboard in Guillotine in theater mode. The billboard is surrounded by forge blocks, but the reflection in the billboard is a reflection of the Alpine canvas.
Guys this is an image used to mimic rrflection, if you get out of the map in theatre you can see HDRI shots of what appears to be the streets outside 343 office most games have these and are used for image based lighting and reflections.

Guys it’s the commander guy who sacrificed himself sitting in the rock. You can see him with the bomb in his arms.

I seriously just noticed it as well without looking into this forum… I noticed it on my own and was really glad to see someone saw it first so i didnt think i was going crazy 
But real talk, i think its a real person in a real room. I was looking into the reflection of the Nightfall helmet with the frost visor color active. Makes it a perfect mirror. Real crazy guys

Ehh, i didnt really notice it on day one. I had a slight question about it, but didnt REALLY notice til tonight. I havent been into forums until recently and did t really make much of it so… (:
