@JoshingtonState: “The goal with reduced shields is to allow outnumbered players a chance at coming back.”
Could anyone elaborate on this? It seems to me that, barring AFK players, no one is “outnumbered” in this game. Anyways, the “outnumbered” team is just as vulnerable as the winning team. Reduced shields might allow bad players to get lucky kills, but that’s not good for the game, and it makes the game feel like more of a twitch shooter, where the person first shot at doesn’t have much of a chance to react before he/she is killed.
Could reduced shields possibly be a gameplay concession to counteract how sprint slows down the game?
