I’ve been playing Halo 4 since day 1 and was e-mailed the specialization code when they were distributed.
Due to an annoyance on the part of Xbox live, my current gamertag, Consigliere is stuck with an old e-mail address that I never use anymore. When I went online to redeem the code I accidentally logged in with a newer e-mail associated with a silver account I made a couple years ago IDidNotOhHaiMark.
Now my specializations are on an account where I can’t use them. I realize this is basically my fault, but is there any way to get a new code for the specializations?
Since 343i is done sending out specalization codes I don’t think there is any way for you to get another one besides waiting until they release it for everyone. If anything I would call Microsoft since it is a LIVE related issue to see if they can rectify the problem.
the DLC are now shared on the console, this means you don’t have to mind about what account redeemed it, if they are both on your xbox you have Specializations on both accounts
I wish that the DLC for specializations was shared on the xbox, but it doesn’t appear to work that way. My fiancee who also plays has the specializations downloaded onto our xbox, but I still can only access wetwork and operator.
I tried calling xbox live first and they said they couldn’t do anything and redirected me to the forums here for help from 343. Hoping someone from 343 can help me out otherwise it looks like I’m stuck with the original 2 specs.
