So, I don’t know when exactly it started happening, but in the past few months, something’s went funny with redeeming season points. It’s EXTREMELY finnicky for me, whereas I had no issue at all back when it was just like, Reach and H1 in the collection. Most of the time, I redeem one, it loads for like a minute, says the unlock was failed and to try again later, and then the season rewards tab is offline for a bit, but I’ve gotten the thing I redeemed for. Other times, a lot more recently, probably by coincidence though, it just doesn’t work. It loads and doesn’t redeem it, and kicks me off the season points tab for a bit, saying its “offline” (whereas nothing else is). What’s up with this? Why is something as simple as redeeming my points an ordeal I have to set aside like 15 minutes to do just to redeem like 6 points?

If it bothers you that much, try contacting with support and see what is the problem, because I assure you, it works fine.

No they are onto something. This has been an issue that I and others have been running into with season points taking way longer to redeem than they should.
I have had similar problems where it just takes forever to load, and i hate the fact i have to go through multiple uis to even get the item. My guess is that the redeeming is done through a server, making you connect to a server before being able to get it and the fact its a server in on itself makes it super slow from how many people would be interacting with it.
It’s been finicky in my experience as well but not consistent enough for me to ever bother uploading a ticket or reach out to support.
I would encourage ticket submission/reaching out to support if it continues to give you such hassle.
