Dear 343i, (as if they read their own forums lmao)
I refuse to give you any more of my money or my time. Microsoft hoped to gain more money and fans by appealing to a wider audience (that is, making a completely horrible game), but in the process lost almost their ENTIRE core audience and no doubt thousands of Xbox 720 preorders.
After reading this article, I decided to mutilate my Halo 4 disc in response. Not really mad about it, just that Halo 4 is a completely worthless game, and everyone who contributed to making it awful, mostly Josh Holmes, deserves nothing less than to have liquid -Yoink- poured all over their face, and then forced to eat it.
You should be proud of yourselves 343, you are one of the many companies in today’s videogame industry that has completely ruined a franchise, the Halo franchies, which was once a PRICELESS piece of art and a superb example of a great video game series.

Im mad enough to break my disc too man, but calling out one guy from 343i isnt going to change anything. It was a group effort, and thus, a group failure.
Also, prepare to be locked/banned. It is almost inevitable.

You don’t say anything about this. At least explain your opinion please, whether than just be mad about everything and break your Halo 4 disc. Also, you gave em your money, and now you made your Halo 4 really worthless, because you can’t play it anymore.

Halo 4 is pretty beast. Sure, it isn’t what I was expecting or hoping, but that does not mean that it is any less great to me. It is a different game, and I have learned to love Halo told from an new and evolving angle. 343i has been making some great progress lately, and I applaud them.
Again, Halo 4 isn’t what the majority of us were expecting, but to think it isn’t Halo or isn’t a great game is silly. Then again, we are all entitled to our own opinions and this is mine.

First off, a real core Halo fan, I GUESS buys every game, but that’s a screwed up definition man, most people call that a drone who only buys because of a brand. The fact is Halo is a good game, Halo is an arena shooter, Halo is a game that is crafted masterfully and made with love. Halo 4 is none of those.
You vote with your wallet, and buying something, regardless of whether it is good or bad, is supporting that thing, and therefore making it more prominent. So buying bad things will lead to more of them.
The main gripes I have with H4 are the changes they made, which are understandable sometimes, but mostly, especially after launch, 343i has shown that they are completely competent and capable of making a good Halo game, but they just refuse to. They made some completely ridiculous mistakes, some of them purposeful, and frankly a company that abandons it’s community like this, by refusing to acknowledge their mistakes or even apologize for offending them (Holmes said he’s sorry for offending cripples, but that was not the issue, the issue was that he said they removed the skil gap in Halo because “we wanted it”), is one that I don’t want to support.

I’m expecting it. I don’t really like these forums that much anyway, but posting something inhumane and offensive makes it more likely for 343 to see this thread and maybe at least realize they screwed up. If I get banned, so be it. Such is life in The Zone.
