Yet another useless gimmick.

Are they gametype specific? If so it doesn’t matter.

This game is going to be so laughably bad.

In halo at least they will be good unlike Cod where 90% of killcams are people camping in a corner.

If killcams are included, then final killcams should also be included.

Don’t worry about that, I’m sure 343i will add all sorts of useless gimmicks from other popular games.

Your posts seem useless to the untrained eye…But you are right. Gimmicks are useless.

And people need to quit saying this will be bad. They haven’t played. I’d be willing to bet they’ll be stuck on Halo 4 for months.

343 please take out this useless feature while you still have the chance

It seems like useless add-on. Only thing it might add is getting the killed player to shout wtf when seeing killtacular on killcam.

Nice addition. Especially when you get sniped in a laggy game and have no idea where the sniper was hiding - this will be very useful.

Oh my, I just realised how -Yoink!- this will be in Living Dead. Last man standing will have even MORE pressure when the horde is upon them

Just like Reach. And still, everybody will buy it and MS sells millions of copies within a few days.

Oh FFS! Whats the point of killcams or even crappy weapon skins. I had so much faith in 343i and now im just getting dissapointment. The actual gameplay better still be Halo at heart.

Dude…really?

It truly takes out much of the skill in the game.

  1. The dead player can see where the better player hangs around, along with the team.
  2. The dead player can see what weapons the better player has.
  3. The dead player will basically be given an advantage.

I have no doubt that ill love this game, I’m just gonna get pissed every time i die because now i have to skip this useless killcam.

Killcams are the most ridiculous things in any game…

Don’t mind, 90% of people don’t watch them anyway

I’m more interested in a final killcam. Think about it. A majority of cod final killcams are boring to death. In halo, there are so many interesting good kills that deserve the spotlight.

I’m slightly annoyed. I don’t care about the origin, I care about how the mechanic affects me. In past Halos I used the spawn screen to see the general direction the enemies were moving to, and to see what my teammates were doing. Now with a kill-cam I’ll be able to see how I died (which I could already deduct from the old system), but I won’t be able to gauge the general flow of enemies or teammates because I’m seeing a simulation of past events, not current. I’m thinking as if Halo 4 will be traditional, and I’ll play it in a similar fashion as I did the trilogy. I shouldn’t, because it won’t. Still, this gleams insight into the direction Halo 4’s going in; run-an-gun action, less tactics.
