your not allowed to call out people or something.
I thank posts that I think are beneficial to the community in one way or another. I’ve noticed that most people are happy to take thanks, but tend to avoid giving them. In this case, I thanked the OP because it made me laugh.
I’m just using the feature as it was designed for.

Link the post and I’ll tell you why I thanked it… I mean, if it bothers you that much?

what i meant was that you are thinking posts that aren’t even usefull or informative, i hardly thank because the majority of posts aren’t infmortaoive to me, yes there are posts that i agree with but i’m not going to thank it because i agree with it unless it is very informative and in most cases, they aren’t.

That’s where we differ then. I’m quite happy to ‘thank’ someone who shares my point of view… or is able to comprehensively argue against it.
At the very least it’s simply me saying “I appreciate that you took the time to reply”. For example, I made a screenshot thread the other day. Everyone that posted (4 people) got a ‘thank’ because I know how easy it is to simply ignore such threads.
