That sounds plausible to me.

Microsoft has been figuring out how to effectively let players choose which part of the MCC they’d like installed for almost two years now right? And they’re rolling out features letting players choose which parts of a game bundle to install for gamepass titles that have multiple games packed into one too.

There is 0% chance that Microsoft is going to allow Infinite, the flagship launch title for the Series X, to be an incomplete package at launch.

As far as I’m aware, this has never happened with any Halo game, ever.

If people thought H5 dealt a blow to Halo’s reputation, a release like that would sink the franchise.
