Yes, this would be a really cool idea! But the only problem is that other people of different religions play this to like, muslims, budhists (sorry if I spelt that wrong), and even hinduhists(again sorry if I spelt that wrong) play this game. I know this sounds stupid but people of other religions get worked up about the topic, Christmas all the time. We would have to make sure it is okay with them so it doesn’t offend anyone.

I can understand this but CBS, ABC, and other channels continue to show Christmas specials and that goes all around the world to a bigger audience.
Although it is a fun and brilliant idea, I’m gonna have to be a bit of a scrouge and tell you why it won’t happen.
Go into Forge on a map like Countdown, look at all the spawn points, keep in mind all the Blue Respawn Points, end the game and start up another map, look for all the Blue Respawn Points, now do that on every map.
Now think how long it will take you to change EVERY SINGLE BLUE SPAWN to Green, for a small use of one week.
Then Gametypes would need to be changed to be Red vs Green, all the Gametypes in matchmaking which are designed for Red vs Blue will need to be changed.
It is once again, too much effort for such a small period of time.
Maybe 343 could add a special playlist featuring some new community maps. The community map authors could submit their maps with red and green team spawn locations, solving that hassle. Also, utilizing a separate playlist (kind of like Halo 3 had with the weekend playlist) would allow those gamers who might take offense at the red and green motif to simply abstain from that one singular playlist; they could continue to play their usual playlists with the typical red vs blue scheme.
I like this idea but they shouldnt go only red vs green maby green vs blue or yellow vs blue, purple vs green add different types of colors
while it would be cool, itd probably take too much effort for one week. also, it’ll probably offend someone somehow.
