One thing that still frustrates me with matchmaking is the fact that every game I have to reassign the enemy teams color in my mind. I often times find myself confused as to who is who and who I need to kill. Resulting in a few deaths that are frustrating so I propose a change to the color scheme on Halo 5 and this is how I would do it…
Just like picking your helmet in Halo 5 is an option choosing your color should be as well. Everyone no matter what team they are on could have the same color every game. You could even unlock colors like you do equipment with Req packs like everything else. You would have a color that your team is all of the time and you could set the enemy color to be a color that the enemy is all of the time. Thus eliminating the question, “What color are we?” Player A would have his colors set to orange (enemy team) and blue (his team) on his screen all of the time his team would end up being blue and all enemy orange. Player B in the same match as player A would have his set to Green (enemy team) and Red (his team) on his screen that is how he would see it and both would still be able to play the same game against the same team.
If I’m the only one here with this problem then I’ll be quiet but I would like to know how many other people have this same problem and what we can do to have 343 make a change so it could be a more cohesive atmosphere for all players.
Sound off if you think this is a good idea or if you have more ideas about how to fix this problem. It could also be more simple then that too where you pick either red or blue and that is what color you are matched with all of the time.
