Ok, so basically here’s what’s goin down. You go buy Halo 4 at the midnight release, go home, sign into xbox live, pop the disc in the tray, and watch as the game starts up. The first thing that pops up on screen after the start up is a message from 343 telling you to pick a side.
Do you go with Red Team or do you go with Blue Team? Choose wisely.

Is it just me or did it seem like the Blue team was meant to be the underdog to the Red team? Really seemed that way atleast in ranked games during Halo 2 and 3.
Part of me thinks this is a cool idea, but another part of me thinks it’s horrible. What if you are a blue who wants to play team slayer with your red friend? Do they force you onto a team? If so, how is that any different than having your custom colors that we already have?
I suppose it could be something that only takes affect when you’re playing team slayer with randoms, or if the majority of the people in your party are the same color.
It would be a cool idea, but I feel like there are a lot of problems. But if they can solve them, I say go for it.

It’s been hinted that he’s still alive. Donut was shot in the stomach, not exactly a lethal area, and when he passed out he may have gone into recovery mode, where his suit locks down and heals him. Later on when FILSS locked everyone down while Tex was beating up the Red team (and Tucker), she then ended recovery mode for ALL units, meaning that’s when Donut would’ve woken up from Recovery mode perfectly healthy (maybe a bit of a scar from the bullet wound).
Yeah, a long shot, but it makes sense within the Red vs. Blue fiction.
Plus it’s Red vs. Blue, no main character ever dies for good.
Blue team all the way. I think blue looks better and works well with different armour and it’s a good secondary colour, and I don’t think red is that good.
Besides, Caboose and Carter are blue they’d be my squad!!

Just tell Caboose he’s on the Red team and he would start racking up kills by the hundreds.
