The Spartan in the menu if you played the beta is wearing Mark IV armour. It might be crazy what I’m thinking but his arm our looks like Halo 2 Anniversary armour.
He’s actually wearing armour that looks like Mark VI, but with a few aesthetics of the Mark IV, such as the helmet front vents. I’m interested in seeing what it turns out to be.

Maybe hybrid Armour set that’s coming to Halo 5 maybe?
I’m expecting too much but, I think it’s a small sneak peak at Halo 3 Anniversary. That’s what I’m hoping at least. I mean, why would a Spartan and Warthogs have such nice graphics in an RTS game that’s not a BLUR cutscene? Then again, could be wrong…

Nah, I wouldn’t expect that. It’s far too different from the Halo 3 armour, people would be unhappy if that were true.

I think you might be right about Halo 3 Anniversary MC but don’t forget it I’d after all its a Beta after all.
From what I see, a VI arms, a Mark IV and VI hybrid helment. I dont know what the back if armour looks like but the chest is IV and legs are too and all that armour that’s IV is from Halo 2 and 3 and the visor is Mark IV.

Possibly Multiplayer armor? H2A had different looking armor for Multiplayer.

Such pretty armour, I’m thoroughly impressed with Halo Wars 2 so far.
We know that Halo Wars 2 takes place post-Halo 5, perhaps this means that later in the game we will acquire Spartan IVs (or possibly even IIIs) wearing this variant.
That’s how Spartans should look like. Make them actually look like soldiers, not some action figures designed for/by kids.

Some of the new Gen 2 armor looks good. they just need to bring back the black undersuits.
Remember Red team are spartan SIIs Mark variants are the armor the are given second theyve been in cryo sleep for a while they cant magicly make master cheif armor come out of no where

Chief also a spartan II he just had a differrent Mark.

That is Mark VI lol. Which still brings up the question, what red team wears from HW.
red team is part of the spartan two program soo chief would know them and it would make sense that they would add it into the lore
