Over your head after you kill someone. WTF -Yoink- is this? I just now started seeing people having this on their loadouts. THIS IS -Yoinking!- GAY. Get rid of this. It is -Yoink-! So long killing sprees. If you’re lucky to kill two or three in a row, then you’ll have 3 MF’ers looking for you with a Huge red arrow above your head. -Yoinking!- so -Yoinking!- gay!

  1. Please don’t make reference to a sexual preference.
  2. Stop swearing so much.
  3. If you are seeing this on the KillCam, it is used to show YOUR LOCATION.
  4. The stalker spec allows them to see you for 4 SECONDS after spawn.
  5. If they are damaged in any way, the marker will jump to whoever caused the most recent damage making it largely useless.

I wouldn’t worry too much about, The player you just killed usually spawns a second or so behind you anyway, so you can get killed by them while your shields are still down.
Besides experienced players would know where on the map they died, and where the killer is likely to be anyway.

Okay, maybe I deserved the wambulance. You can look at my stats, I don’t suck. I’m not some guru but my kd is over 1. I just think this red arrow crap is garbage. Kill a dude and he can see you coming from a mile away.

Yes, and it is phucking gay! Soon, everyone will be running with it. I phucking hate it with a passion. They know where you are at all times. I can’t phucking play anymore. I just went back and tried to play and every phggot I killed had the red arrow on me. It’s ruing the game. It honestly makes me not want to play because I know I’ll get blinding raging pissed off.

EDIT: Gets upset with spec that shows where you are for less than 10 seconds…not mad with PV…your logic dumbfounds me.

It lasts a few seconds. As far as being OP goes, it’s pretty underpowered when combined with a spawn system that places you as far away as it can.

Also, stop using ‘Gay’ as an insult, it makes no sense and only used as such by out-dated, narrowminded children.

I stopped playing Halo 4 about a months after release and never got to see this in action even though I had heard about it
It does sound really stupid and frustrating as if instant respawn isn’t bad enough so that the guy you just killed comes back a second later to finish you off when you have no shields! Nope, gotta have a big red arrow above your head to help them find you more easily while still vulnerable!

Thank you, someone that gets it! I mean, I’m not sure if I can continue to play. I will get blinding raging mad. I can’t help it. I will feel genuine anger and want to throw 40 dollar controllers across the room.

You’re obviously not listening to anybody in this thread.
Either you have mistaken the ‘YOU’ arrow in deathcam, which isn’t in the game, only in deathcam to show who you are, or you have read the specilization and decided to rage about it without even researching how long it lasts.

Not everyone has the Stalker Specialization, which shows your location temporarily to the person who has it after you killed them. That’s how it is explained.

Exactly. So it’s not the kill cam pointing you out. This specialization is, well, IMO sucks!

A few seconds? You mean it doesn’t last the entire time until THAT person kills you?
