So, I’ve recently found some extra campaign footage lying around YouTube and wonder if anyone can clear up this statement above. Does it have something to do with the covenant and red forerunners working together? or that the blue forunners are defending the planet against the invading life. I am so confused!
wooooo halo reach 2015!
Blue - Night
Red - Day
And for that, I thank you…
Unless you’re one of those Insurrectionists who pirated the game and already beat the campaign, we really don’t know. We have seen orange Prometheans in night and day, so that’s not likely. All I can say is, we’ll have to find out once we get the game in three weeks.
> Blue - Night
> Red - Day
If that’s the case, why do the Promethean weapons remain orange during the night?
To my knowledge, it hasn’t been confirmed why we’ve got Blue & Orange Prometheans.
> Blue - Night
> Red - Day
I believe the blue is before they are controlled by the didact, the red is when he controls them. Not sure on this, but I remember tham being blue in the Eurogamer mission(mission 3) at the beginning, before Chief sees the Cryptum. They probably go yellow afterwards.

Some people have legit pre-released copies. In fact, the pirates(or innies if you wish) wouldn’t have gotten the halo 4 torrent without someone else hacking and uploading the game online.
I actually have a friend Who got a legit early copy. I’ve been trying sooo hard to get info out of him, but of course hes not allowed to disclose anything to me

That is possible. The Didact will corrupt the Prometheans. The Didact will not look like them but he will most likely have orange lights as well.

This.
I’ve seen the Orange Prometheans in a night time setting, so it’s unlikely to be as simple as a Day/Night situation.

Plus, then it seems like at first the prometheans were working to keep the Didact in the cryptum. But chief could accidentally awake him because he didn’t understand the warnings.
If I could throw in my wild guess, and when I say wild, I mean extremely wild.
The Anniversary terminals so far have really made Halo 4’s story a lot easier to understand.
Orange Prometheans - controlled by the Didact
Blue Prometheans - controlled by the Librarian
They were both mentioned in the Anniversary terminals, and it only makes sense, why the Librarian has any part in controlling the Prometheans though, it a mystery to me.
I know why, but I can’t tell

Ha, you want to know more about the game?! Nah, just be careful about campaign spoilers, it could ruin the story for you. And yeah, Halo has seemed to have problems with this in the past, sadly. Oh well. Three more weeks for everybody else
From what I’ve been able to gather, they turn red once the Didact starts controlling them. When they’re blue they’re just automated defenses.
I’ve heard that the blue ones are just defence AI’s while the orange/red ones are controlled.
