So a friend of mine found this exploit, if you even want to call it that but anyways, on the map Recurve, it seems like he managed to get out of the map both in customs and matchmaking. He wanted me to post this up because seeing things like this, he would like to get 343i attention on this to fix this issue of people getting out of the map. Do you guys think things like this should be fixed or left alone? Personally I think they should be fixed either way. What do the monitors think, should these things be patched?

Yeah people are aware. I’m sure 343 is aware. The only benefit I really see to this is grabbing the flag on CTF and running out while you’re up but once people become aware of this the opposing team will pretty much have control of the power weapons and have knowledge on this exploit to find you with the flag somewhere. In BTB the flag slowly auto-respawns back to your base as well once you snipe them down. As of now though it is an exploit and using it is not cheating. A fix to this is probably not as simple as you’d think but we’ll see. I’m sure it will be worked on eventually.

Yea ever since I found it, not claiming I found it first or anything, but it gave me the reason to find it out on other maps of theirs and with the recent update to Halo 5 I noticed by going back into Orion that the update now stopped players from going out of the map during CUSTOMS, so now no one can leave the map.
