Gold guarentees at least 2 (maybe 3, don’t quote me on this) permanent-unlock common reqs-legendary reqs (again, don’t quote me on this)
Therefore, its more valuable to buy silver reqs until you’ve ceived most/all of the common-uncommon reqs, and then buy the gold reqs.
So in short, to answer ur question, it is possible to receive worse loot from gold than silver. Don’t waste ur money on gold: buy silver first.

This OP. If you buy gold and have not finished silvers, your gold pack will have silver stuff in them.
