Recruiting for Tactical Gaming (TG)

Tactical Gaming is currently recruiting all players of all levels and skill levels into our well organized teams. We offer a variety of choices for you to make, whether you are a casual player or a serious competitive player and we are always active in game. From my own experience, Tactical Gaming can be very flexible. So whether you’re a casual or competitive player, we try to accommodate to your needs!
There is a lot of information here for you to read below, however if you find it TL;DR then just skip straight to the bottom!
I will explain to you further and in depth about TG and what we stand for.

Q: Who are Tactical Gaming?
A: Tactical Gaming (TG) was created in November 2004 to bring together like-minded gamers from around the globe and from multiple platforms (Consoles, PC & Mobile), to provide them Headquarters (web site) where they can share their backgrounds, experience, and interests in teamwork and tactics, as well as providing them with an environment that allows a “friends-first” experience in the online community.

TG is not for everyone and the different phases of our recruiting process enable us to find like-minded gamers.

Different type of gamers: We have found that there are 3 main types of gamers (intro, casual and competitive) and our structure allows us to satisfy each type by grouping them with similar gamers.

Awards: We value each and every member. Whether you show great practice/match attendance, or show other qualities such as good conduct, dedication, leadership, teamwork, tactics and performance on and off the field, our attendance points system and our awards are there to give recognition to those who have earned it.
Web Team: Our large member base keeps us on our toes by asking for new features and coming up with exciting new ideas. This is where our Web Team comes in. We have a full staff of talented developers and graphics personnel that work daily on projects to keep our sites on the cutting edge of the gaming community.

Why join us? Here’s my story!
Well, I’m Only Use A Frag (Aka TG Moondoggie and many more names) and I’ve been a member of TG for six years now. I first started off in Battlefield Division (BF Div) Xbox 360 back in the Bad Company 2 days and didn’t leave BF Div until early BF3. After that I moved over to Halo Div since Halo is where my heart lies for competitive gaming. I had led TG Blizzard (ST) which was a competitive squad for many years. After more time past a good friends xbox had its run and he switched to League of Legends (LoL) and I and others followed since we all wanted to stick together. After almost a year in LoL I was promoted to Executive Officer (XO) of 1st Battalion and eventually Commanding Officer (CO); However, I eventually went back to Halo Div since Halo MCC had released. Since the game was set up differently for its competition myself and my new teammates tried our run, but other things kept getting in the way. Fast forwarding, and now I’m in Smite Div for Xbox One and I’m the currently Intro Squad Leader.

The FAQ is kinda long, so if you don’t wanna read everything, skip straight to the bottom!
FAQ
Q: How many members are in Tactical Gaming?
A: Roughly we have around 2,700 active members and we are still growing. This is across games such as CS:GO, Call of Duty, Battlefield, League of Legends, Smite, Halo and more! You could be part of the 2,700+!

Q: How do I sign up?
A: Simply click on the link at the bottom of this post

Q: What will happen once I sign up?
A: Once you sign up, it will take around 24 hours for validation and an e-mail to be sent to you.
You are then required to go through “Boot Camp”. Which puts you through a test which is about TG and their rules, just to make sure that you understand them.
To explain the test in basic terms, the test is for all new ‘recruits’ to take. This is to test your knowledge on the rules. Such as our structure, communication standards and other standards that all members must follow (Currently it is focused on FPS since those were our founding games, but a generalized test is in works).
Documents will be provided in the test as well as the e-mail/PM sent to you on the website and most of the answers will be in these documents. The simplest way of taking the test is to have the documents open in your browser and find the answers to the questions it asks you.
Once you are done there, you will need to post a thread stating you have completed the test. [They will guide you where to go next.]
After which, you will most likely be put in the Intro Squad in our 1st or 2nd battalion.

Q: I’m in an IN Squad, now what?
A: Our mandatory practices [Which are standard across TG] are on Wednesdays and Sundays beginning 7:00PM GMT for EU, 8:00PM EST for NA, 7 PM AEST for OCE; attending practices will give you attendance points.
Your squad leader will teach you the basic communications and structure of TG. This isn’t because we think you’re lousy at communicating, it is just the standard of TG and it helps you to communicate a lot better once you’re in.
When you accumulate enough attendance points, you will be put into a Structured Squad. It normally takes a maximum of 4 of these practices to “graduate” from the IN squads and a minimum of 2, however if the Squad Leader thinks that you’ve picked it up really well, then you can move onto a Structured Squad faster.
If you have a preference you need to talk to your squad leader about this. Unless you are unhappy with the squad you are placed in, this is where you will stay.

Q: What happens in Structured Squads?
A: Simple answer: You play together, whether it’s Arena, Customs, or Warzone. will be up to your Squad Leader. Again, practices are between 7:00PM - 9:00PM GMT or 8:00PM - 10:00PM EST on Wednesdays and Sundays, but you don’t have to limit playing with your team to just practice times. You can play whenever you want.

Q: I would like to bring my friends into the clan too, will I be able to have a squad of my own with them?
A: It’s very complicated. Even though we can make a new squad, we can’t just make them because you know each other. You can be put in the same squad that is currently available, sure, but you won’t get put into your own squad. Although this can happen, it really depends on the decision of the officers of our battalion.
Basically, when enough members join, we consider making another squad, but it won’t be just for a special occasion. But if they want to join, just get them to sign up.
Absolutely anyone is allowed to join, provided you’re aged 16 and over!

Thanks!

I have been in Tactical Gaming for over two years and man has it been some experience! This community is like a family to me the experiences and life-long friends I have made here in my time have been truly memorable. Come check us out at http://www.tacticalgaming.net

I’ve been in TG for about a year and it’s been a lot of fun. My friends list is almost always full and there’s always someone online willing to play. The structure makes things easy to navigate and I really like the competitive nature of the crew. There’s even something for those that don’t wanna be competitive. I definitely recommend TG to anyone looking for a good group of folks to play with.

I’ve been with TG for a little over 4 and a half years now, and I have loved the entire time. Flexibility, structure, reliability, and great people. I know it’s going to be here in the years to come, and I always have some good people to play with that have mics and teamwork… I don’t like randoms, so TG is for me!

I have only been in TG for a little over a month now. From the very get go I was amazed how organized and professional the community was but above all we always have fun. Not one moment goes to waste, you are either having fun with your squad with a Free for all or coming up with strategies to use in upcoming matches. Though you are placed in a squad of 8 you still have the opportunity to mingle with the other members and squads. Joining this community has been by far the best decision I have made since playing HALO CE.

TG is still recruiting! Join today to be a part of a large, but close knit community of Halo players who focus on tactics and teamwork. We have squads for every type of player including those who want to play competitively, casually, or focus on co-op Spartan Ops and achievement hunting. Again, please post here with any questions or feel free to message me on XBL: jasparella

Thanks and have a Happy New Year!

I would just like to let you know that I registered on your website to join…thanks.

CSR is coming and most people will be gunning for the highest rank they can get. The highest ranks will be harder to achieve without a good team to help you get there. This is where Tactical Gaming comes into play. Get with a good group of players who strive to be the best. We are still recruiting for the time being. See jasparella’s post for the link to our site. See you on the battlefield.

As a general update, Tactical Gaming as something for everyone. Our Halo division has over 100 people split into squads. Some squads focus on competitive play, competing in Gamebattles and Fragged Nation matches. We also have social squads, for people who want to improve their gameplay and focus on teamwork while having fun. We also have a co-op squad that is devoted entirely to campaign and spartan ops. I have been in TG for a little over 7 months now and have enjoyed my time in it. I’ve made really good friends and always have someone to play with. TG also supports multiple platforms and games, so if for some reason you are more interested in another game, you can always switch divisions but remain in TG.

Tactical Gaming is still recruiting! CSR is coming and randoms just won’t do to get yourself a high rank. TG is a group of like-minded gamers focused on teamwork and tactics. Message any of the following people for more information.

Within our Halo Divisions we have over 150 members split over many Squads which cater to individual play styles ie. Semi-Competitive, Casual, Competitive. We have seperated our squads over different timezones to cater to different players such as USA/UK and Europe/Australia and New Zealand.

We host our own internal tournaments and events with prizes and accolades within the clan. I guarantee you will not be disappointed once you join, my only regret is I only found it once Halo 4 came out as it has rejuvinated my play style for the Halo games.
