Hello!
I am part of an amazing member-driven Facebook Halo group called “Halo Fireteam Chat”! We are a group dedicated to matching players with other players, organizing & hosting tournaments, and creating fun events for almost every playlist and day of the week (SWATerday anyone?). We really like to focus on the community aspect of Halo and letting everyone participate if they want to! Any group member can propose an event and the group can go about setting it up! Our admins are also extremely helpful and provide each and every member with dedicated assistance and encouragement. We really like to have our members be the driving force of the group, not the other way as is the case with many groups.
Our ultimate goal is to create a thriving community that can discuss Halo (Expanded Universe included), play Halo, be creative & encourage creativity (we host member events where our members can display all their Halo Artwork and can even submit official group pictures/logos etc!) , and do everything Halo related! We have members from all ranges of the gaming spectrum-from our weekend warriors, casual players, and those just looking to hang out and play a few rounds all the way to the most competitive members that prefer our tournaments and laying waste to all their competition!
Our ultimate vision is to be known as THE Halo hangout! We would even love to get to the point where members can meet up with other local members in-person!
