Wrong Recruit’s information saying it is standard recruit armour, does not mean you are necessarily that recruit, unless u buy LE then u are that recruit. Limited Editions clearly say Recruit armour/ Prime skin, THE SKIN IS PRIME, the armour comes with it
EDIT clearly and simply, if your store has a picture mentioning recruit armour and has a space or a “/” or a “&” between it and the word skin, then it means they are separate entities, meaning LE buyers ONLY get Recruit helmets

What? I’m confused. Is the Recruit armor exclusively for LE buyers or is it just a skin for the Recruit armor which will be automatically unlocked for us LE buyers?

For those who don’t know, a skin in Halo 4 is just another set of armor with different secondary color patterns on it. It is counted on the armory menu as a different set of armor.
The Prime skin is another set of Recruit armor. So we could get the Recruit armor default, and LE buyers could get the Recruit-Prime armor skin.

I’m beginning to think that this was a little bit more than a “misunderstanding” on 343is part. This seems like the perfect shady move to pull on a bunch of sorry suckers…luckily people found out 2 months in advance

yes I noticed something similar to this but please answer me, what is the use of getting Prime-recruit skin set if people are getting skin sets like Web and raptor, those are amazing skins, and you would assume you could use it with the first armour type. so wouldnt that make prime almost redundant, and also wouldnt that also mean that if prime is set for recruit armour you then have no use of your special LE skin once you hit lvl 5 and get a better helmet/armour?

You are making this point when the game’s trailers and video’s only had 1 completed armour set? they can improve and add to their own products you know.
You C’what 343 did there. You get access to an exclusive armor but what people fail to understand is that skins are counted as armor. Notice at PAX videos of the armory they count the skin as a difference piece of armor.
I don’t care if the armor is not LE exclusive the skin itself is pretty cool the prime skin.
