TimeSplitters was a first person shooter franchise that consumed me as a child, and now that forge is powerful enough to make maps from those games, I’ve begun to do so! Over the past 5 months I’ve hammered out 6 maps. None of these maps were simply thrown together however. Whilst forging, on a TV next to me I would have the level up on my gamecube, observing the map and translating it over to Halo as best as I could. The biggest highlight of these maps is that they support 4 Team Capture the Flag- something that TimeSplitters 1 had that was incredible fun!
I will not name which maps I’ve created, but instead I’ll let you discover them in these videos. All of these maps are in my Bookmarks, and for the true TimeSplitters gameplay experience, I have TS Deathmatch, TS Team Deathmatch, and TS CTF variants in my game mode bookmarks. They play as close to the original games as you can get, with no spartan abilities, faster move speed, faster reload, and no jumping!
