I know for a fact most games with cut scenes outsource those scenes to another media company, thus when recorded on youtube it is copy-right infringement.
So I am curious, can I get a definite answer to what is able to be legally recorded and not recorded as I just became a new youtube Partner.
Thanx
Read Microsoft’s terms and agreement regarding game usage. All I know is that you won’t be bothered regarding copyright if it’s Halo music, which Microsoft permits.
No, that is not enough, Microsoft may own rights to this series, but 343 and the other companies in conjunction with the development and publishing of this game also own rights.
So I really need specifics here.

Here. Halo is included in the list. It states Halo (All Versions) I’m still reading up about YouTube’s and Micrsoft’s Terms of Use. It’s a very vague topic actually.
Ok, I’m not sure, but after reading it I can say you cannot earn money if it is distributed digitally (5 $ per download itunes style) or DVD style. I think it’s ok in youtube because you’re not really earning because of your video/creation. You’re only earning because your videos attracts audience, which promotes the advertisements in their website.
Then again, that’s just what I think…
