Hello everyone, I’ve been recording Halo 5 games using the Xbox app on my Windows 10 PC. It’s a great app, but I need some help with a few things.
My setup:
Intel Hades Canyon (drivers up to date as of last week)
Windows 10 (up to date)
Xbox app on Windows 10 (version 41.41.18005.00000)
Xbox One (up to date)
Turtle Beach Headset with microphone
Windows Game DVR Settings:
Background Recording: On
Record audio when I record a game: On
Turn mic on by default when I record: Checked
Record game audio only: checked
60 fps
Game quality: high
Issues and Questions:
Audio recording of party chat works, but how come game chat is not recorded?
Also with party chat, my voice recorded through my PC microphone. This is not ideal because I do not have a professional mic and would rather use my headset mic. Any way to record through the headset mic?
What have I tried:
Reading reddit and google was not helpful. I’ve tried many combinations of the Game DVR settings in Windows 10 with no luck.
