If I’ve missed any weapons let me know, also if you disagree with my assessment of certain weapons I’ve asterisked as unlikely to appear feel free to ask me why I pointed it out and tell me why you might disagree.

Also, the reason I put the asterisks for the Needle Rifle, Beam Rifle, and Focus Rifle in brackets is because we don’t know whether the Stalker Rifle is a Banished Utility weapon, or a Banished Sniper Rifle. Once it is confirmed which it is, I will remove the brackets and remove the asterisk for whichever role it is not taking in the sandbox.

Heh, maybe the gravity axe showed in Shadows of Reach might be included, not sure how a gravity axe would be mechanically different from the hammer or the energy sword but we’ll just have to wait and see.

I have a feeling the M90/45 series shotgun or the M6 series pistol may have a slight chance in returning, maybe not in the way we expected but it could be there. 343 did mention that the M6 Series and the M90/45 series shotgun were not going to be at launch before the delay. Maybe the extra time will allow 343 to include the weapons at launch, but that’s just speculation.

you forgot the armament blaster as a new weapon

Oh yeah, I thought that was the same thing as the Disruptor lol. Added

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them added as premium weapon coatings for the Sidekick and Bulldog down the line. But I don’t think they will ever be added as their own weapons with their own functionalities.

I think you should list out grenades because they are just as important to the sandbox

we know for sure of
-Plasma
-Frag
-Lightning
-Spike

we have seen all the above in actual gameplay

Also I found a video that I’m sure the majority of the community missed that shows the SMG in Halo Toy form for infinite and a smoke grenade.
( also bayonet weapon attachment???!! )
Link  for my source

I’m not 100% sure that the SMG and Plasma Launcher associated with that toy is direct confirmation of their return. Mainly because the Elite model of the toy is the Halo 3 model (much like how certain Spartan models in the ‘Inspired by Halo Infinite’ collection use the Reach model instead of the Infinite model). The Smoke Grenade is interesting though, I don’t think that has ever even been in a non-shooter Halo title before (Wars, Assault/Strike etc) though correct me if I’m wrong because I don’t really remember Halo Wars 2’s arsenal as well.

As for the grenades, that’s a good point but there’s a running theory that the “Lightning grenade” is actually an equipment, not a grenade, and is meant to serve as this game’s replacement for the Power Drain from Halo 3. I tend to believe it, mainly because of just how insane the potential radius of the grenade is. I’ll go ahead and include grenades and an Equipment list, and remove the asterisk from SMGs and the Plasma Launcher (Though I still have reservations about the SMG because if it was in the game it would likely be included in the Monster weapon coatings)

You’ve got me questioning the SMG now, but 343i did bring the smg into Halo 5 guardians and made it probably one of the most effective SMG we’ve seen in a halo game to date.

also I do like the theory about lightning Grenades being equipment and can see that actually happening. I hope they effect vehicles too.

I can confirm the DMR and Hydra will return since they were shown in some new action figures.

I hope the DMR returns, and in all likelihood it will. But I wouldn’t use toys as the basis of a confirmation. There’s also a toy boat build from Megaconstrux, but until we get confirmation on an actual boat being in the game, I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s confirmed to be an Infinite vehicle.

Thank you for keeping this record.
