Last night I won a Free For All (FFA) on Coliseum with 25 kills and 24 deaths. Honestly, beef was hot all game and I could have easily died 30 times if not for some breaks here and there. That got me thinking: What’s the record for most deaths in a FFA match where you actually wound up winning?
I’m primarily looking for H5 “slayer/25 kills to win” matches and not objective games (though I’m not sure H5 has done any objective games in FFA playlist).
Been a couple seasons since i played FFA but i think the most i died in victory was maybe 17 ish deaths.
I think my worst was around 25/30ish deaths. I don’t really like FFA, and that game was like my 3rd game ever in Halo 5, so I was still learning the ropes.
I think my AVERAGE deaths/FFA is 25.
Man… Rumble Pit was my favorite playlist from Halo 3, through Halo: Reach, and all the way to Halo 4… but in Halo 5, it’s just a broken mess. Halo 5’s screwed up game mechanics combined with the reduced motion track ranger hurt it more than any other playlist.
My K/D has been locked at 1.0 because of this; ergo, for every kill I get, I die. That’s down from a 1.7 K/D in Halo: Reach and 1.6 in Halo 4. Ridiculous…
Most I could find in my history was 17 deaths and still won. I had a game the other day where there was a 4 way tie for 1st (24 kills each). Winner wound up with 25, 2nd,3rd, and 4th had 24, 5th had 21 kills. Tight game .
