Why the -Yoink- can’t we reconnect to a ranked game we d/cd out of?

Just because its never been a thing doesnt mean its not a good idea. I’d love to see more strict bans with a option to reconnect.

Stricter bans won’t do away with the quitting. And I posted that just to mirror the OP’s lack of elaboration.
I would be nice to be able to reconnect to a game. I just don’t see it happening. We are still having issues with the servers in general.

I have no idea, and I wish we could especially now that I seem to get disconnected from the halo 5 server a decent amount ever since the monitors bounty update… ugh!!! I’ve been saying this forever!! 100% agree OP

Agree 100% it should be a thing. Gears 4 now does it, so why can’t Halo 5 do it?
I think if one is getting disconnected from a ranked game the option to reconnect to it really would be nice. Im not sure but I rarely have a full team anymore and I feel a lot of the players that are dropping out are not quitting. But instead getting disconnected… The support section for H5 has grown tremendously after xmas with old and new players getting disconnected… Right now I think there first priority is to get these servers under control… Something is seriously up with this game.

Agree 1000% ive seen you on there and I’ve posted on the support forums lots too ever since the last update (monitors bounty) I’ve had mass disconnects from halo 5 now, 50+ for sure!!! where as before the update, I was disconnected maybe 2-3 times and I’ve been playing since day 1.

Oh yes I remember you posting there as well… 
And yes the disconnects have mounted a lot after the Monitors Bounty. I never would have thought the amount of players effected by this would have been this high. The support section has become a popular place… I just hope it is something 343i can fix. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

It’s a real shame that reconnecting is not a thing in H5, the amount of times I get disconnected from a game, is unbelievable. Usually happens when I’m winning as well, typical.
Yeah, reconnecting would be great. I hate it when a friend gets booted out of a game, especially an objective one as it’s pretty much a guaranteed loss. It could even pause the game for 30-60 seconds and give them a chance to get back in the game. If they don’t return, then a penalty to their rank and reputation could happen, and/or a possible ban.
I’m sick of quitters, but know that some people have connection issues with Halo. I’ve had it myself - we were all waiting for the game to start, I get kicked back to the menu but my friends are all in the game. It sucks when it happens.
