I did the vid Masters for Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST but I did not get no Recon
Recon armor can no longer be unlocked through Vidmasters. Back in the day you had to do all 7 achievements, then go on Bungie.net., connect your account, and press a giant “Give Me My Recon” button. After Bungie left Microsoft, 343i gave it out to most people who’s accounts showed they had played before a certain date. Unfortunately, after that and the complete split from Bungie, Recon is no longer available to give out. 343i doesn’t have the ability to do it. It’s a bummer, but it is what it is.
