I had a bit of a fun nostalgia trip from my recommended feed on YouTube recently, does anyone else remember the old Recon Skull hoax from back in the days of Halo 3?

I recall these videos here & here being quite popular peddlers of the hoax, the old bungie forums would sometimes troll people into thinking it was real, I admit I was gullible enough to try and find the skull back then ಠ╭╮ಠ

It’d be hilarious if there actually was a Recon Skull, and a hoax that turned into a perennial April fools joke was coincidentally true all along.
