I had played this game for the last 10 years and i had gotten the recon set after Bungie and 343 had gave it to everyone but now that i got it on Xbox one i don’t have the set i haven’t played in a while but i should still have it. i was wondering if i could have it given to me again and see if that works. please and thanks to all!!
343i won’t give it to you; they won’t give it to anyone anymore. They unlocked it for anyone playing at a certain time a few times, but haven’t since and there’s no way to unlock it anymore, sorry.

Sadly, this is true. I wish they would put it back in the Vidmaster system, but as far as I’ve heard that won’t happen. It’s a shame because I started a new account when I got my Xbox One (before back comp. was announced of course) and I really want it for my new account too. 
Frankie said on the recent livestream that the service used to distribute Recon was lost or broken or something. Unlikely that it is even possible to do without spending resources amending it which seems unlikely at this time.
