So I bought Halo 3 tonight, and I was going through my armor permutations, and I noticed I had Recon. I had none of the Achievements to unlock it, so did Bungie give it to everyone as a going away present?
As of March 31st, Bungie had no control over the Halo franchise, it was passed over to 343 Industries.
Sadly, 343 had no plans to track Halo 3 stats and carry on the Road to Recon, meaning Recon would have been impossible to get if not unlocked already, so 343i decided to unlock Recon for EVERYONE on Halo 3 in stead.
I haven’t got mine yet :S
