Hey all I am really excited by halo infinite’s gameplay so far and I want to make sure when the game launches my pc wont hold me back from playing the game on high settings and atleast maintaining 60+fps. Also looking for recommendations on stepping my monitor game up, I’ve been gaming on 1080p monitors all my life and I want to try a 1440p or better monitor. 144hz 1ms monitors are what im used to.
My my specs are…
Processor
Intel(R) Core™ i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz
Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
RAM
16 GB
Operating System
Windows 10
You’ll be good when the game releases it’ll be in true fullscreen not windowed fullscreen.
I’ve got 2 Asus ROG Swift 27inch have a look at that online see if its something you want.
Honestly your PC is probably Par for the course for Halo Infinite

If you’re looking to upgrade based off of this weekend, I’d wait. The game is not optimised yet, so you may overshoot what you need.

Only reason to upgrade his beast of a machine is literally for 3rd gen RTX. Especially if you also want 4K at above 144hz someday. I mean that is insane. But something that one could benefit from.
*and maybe there will be RTX VR someday and we can play all the Halo’s in VR with RTX but who knows right?

I have similar spec but 4770k 4.4Ghz. I noticed the CPU on task manager was pegged at 100%. I want to upgrade PC as well and consider 6 or 8 core CPU if this game is so CPU intensive like CSGO. But want to wait till it’s a finished and optimized. Playing on 1440p I was get 70-90 fps everything on Low. xD
