Recoil vs Bloom, What's the difference?

Sorry if a sound like a Major Noob here but could someone tell me the difference
between recoil and bloom

k, thx

Recoil isn’t dumb.

Bloom is when your reticule expands whenever you shoot.

Recoil is when your reticule moves in a direction (typically straight up but it could be kind of diagonal) when you shoot. It’s less random than bloom.

Ohhhhh, Ok thank you, i looked like an idiot.

Recoil is the kick you get from firing, its usually your gun vertically climbing
Bloom is increased bullet spread when firing , for example, Halo: Reach

I was asking the difference

Way to not even read his thread. He was asking what the difference between them was because he didn’t know. You were asking people what their opinions were.
