Reclaimer 'Universal' Control Scheme

After ages of playing with Halo: Reach and Halo 4 over the last few years, I decided to choose the Reclaimer control scheme to use since it is most similar to Halo 2, Reach and 4’s ones. However, I was annoyed to find that this control scheme isn’t quite universal. I’m not sure if this is the case with the other universal control schemes, but I don’t doubt it.

Notably, I found two main issues with the Reclaimer scheme:

  • With Hornets, A is fly upward, but LB is fly downward. This is annoyingly inconsistent with forge, where RB flies up and LB flies down. I think this ought to be changed.- In Halo 2, a dual-wielded weapon reloads with the main weapon, when X is pressed. In Halo 3 it is when the left stick is pressed. I personally think that there should be an option, under Halo 3 control schemes, to make the reload main weapon button reload both, when dual-wielded.- Banshee tricks are bound to A in Halo 3 and H2A’s campaign, and LB in H2A multiplayer. I think it should be bound to LB in all three, or better yet, LB and A in everything.Does anyone have any other suggestions of improvements for this, or other control schemes?

You obviously didn’t set the control scheme to be on all games. I have none of your problems.

I’m not that forgetful lol

You sure that you aren’t having similar differences between the games?

I use the same for the same reasons listed above. The issues are all with Halo 3. It appears as though the controls work just fine even with the wonky quirks of Halo 1. Personally, I don’t really care to use certain Halo 3 controls that are not working properly so it has been of little concern to myself.

Cheers to you for actually admitting that the old control scheme is out of date and that Halo Reach had the best controls.
