Hi Waypoint, before I begin, I just want to shoot off a couple disclaimers.
-
This is not canon to the Halo story-line
-
I realize that this may get moved to the creation forums, but more people look at General Discussion, but!.. I believe the famous Decepticon Cobra has posted his Halo 4/5 scripts here as well, so I’ll do the same.
-
This script was published into a PDF on 7/30/2012 meaning…any discrepancies you see in my script are discrepant because they are most likely out-dated and out “fictioned” by succeeding fiction within the Halo Universe.
-
This script is solely for your enjoyment.
-
This script was never produced into a machinima, but it’s never too late for that. With that said, you do not have permission to copy this story and make it your own. Nor do you have permission to use my material for machinima making purposes. However if you would like to adapt it into a film, just ask and we’ll talk.
Now for the background story behind this film. It was going to be a series, but I stopped at Part 1. If my memory serves correct, the story takes place on an Outer Colony world called Cascade several years after the actual Human/Covenant war is over. The UNSC presence on the planet has long since lost contact with the entire UNSC military. Likewise with the Covenant, they too, do not know the war has ended. Launched in a stale-mate, both sides fight until something gives…
Unfortunately, I can’t post it all at once, so I’ll try and do it in daily installments.
Now immerse yourself!

ACT 0 SCENE 1 (PROLOGUE) INT.FLAGSHIP
Jebb narrates what hope is.
JEBB
Hope. You don’t give it up. It
keeps us going. Hope is knowing
something good will happen.
Hope…is dreaming of tomorrow.
Brief sequence of Jebb on the loose aboard the ship. He is
inevitably captured. He is put back in his cell.
One thing is for sure. The next day
will surely come and we’ll once
again fight-fight for salvation.
Hope will be the last thing I lose
before I leave this world.
ACT I SCENE 1 INT.FORT ÖBA.EVENING
COMMANDER YANTERRA and GENERAL RAWLAND are arguing over
their situation on Cascade. Surrounded by officers and other
personnel, General Rawland makes his case to get off the
colony.
GENERAL RAWLAND
Everyday it’s the same thing. Ship,
after ship, after ship. Pretty
soon, Cascade will be left
defenseless. Our men are tired and
supplies are running out.
Eventually, we’re gonna have vacant
shoes to fill sir.
COMMANDER YANTERRA
Well something’s gotta give, and it
ain’t gonna be us! To quit now
would be in vain. How long have we
been fighting? Three? Four years?
We’ll fight with a chip on our
shoulder ’till the last hour.
GENERAL RAWLAND
Sir, with all due respect, we’ll
end up like the rest-
COMMANDER YANTERRA
(raises voice)
Look General… Don’t give me this.
Not again. I won’t have any of it.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 2.
GENERAL RAWLAND
Almost three decades at war and
where are we now?.
COMMANDER YANTERRA
General…
GENERAL RAWLAND
York. Pierpont. Nazareth. High
Noon. Vegas. Portland. When does it
end? Tell me Commander, since when
has Navcom given a rat’s -Yoink- about
us? About Harvest? Tribute? Emerald
Cove? Your fleet? Your ships? Your
men. My men-
COMMANDER YANTERRA
Enough!
JEBB overhears the heated argument. He decides to interject.
CUT TO:
JEBB
All gave some. Some gave all. At
the end of day it doesn’t matter.
We’ll still be here, doing our job.
Left behind or not, we aren’t going
anywhere.
Enter rest of Team Xi.
Is Ravage Talon a go?
GENERAL RAWLAND
What’s our situation ground-side?
JEBB
New Calypso is getting back on its
feet again. According to
reconnaissance, Covvies are
regrouping back to her coasts. Fire
teams are ready to strike.
GENERAL RAWLAND
Send the package. Will you need
additional assets?
COMMANDER YANTERRA
Not possible Lieutenant. We’re at
full throttle already. Our fleet
cannot risk losing another ship.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 3.
JEBB
We’ll need wheels sir. Small strike
package needs to get on the road
asap.
GENERAL RAWLAND
Consider it done. Any other
requests?
JEBB
Warthog Escorts.
GENERAL RAWLAND
And your last wish?
JEBB
Munitions, lots of munitions.
GENERAL RAWLAND
Naturally, Jebb.
CUT TO:
ACT I SCENE 2 EXT.FORT ÖBA.DAY
Team Xi gets ready for Operation Ravage Talon. CHANCE, LYLE,
KAREEM, and JEBB are getting ready buy Team Epsilon time to
repair the Comm towers. Chance and Lyle are preparing the

LYLE
(to CHANCE)
Alright?
CHANCE
Don’t know.
LYLE
What’s wrong?
CHANCE
Nothing.
LYLE
You sure?
CHANCE
(slightly agitated)
Yea.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 4.
LYLE
(pauses)
It’s the vibe.
CHANCE
What?
LYLE
Your vibe.
CHANCE
Why don’t you just focus on the
mission?
LYLE
I can’t.
CHANCE
Leave me alone Lyle.
LYLE
Not when your like this.
CHANCE
Lyle please.
LYLE
Is it the General?
CHANCE
We can talk about this another
time.
LYLE
We have plenty of it.
CHANCE
Fine. But this is between us.
LYLE
I’m listening.
CHANCE
Look, the General’s right. When was
the last time we touched base with
them?
LYLE
With the UNSC?
CHANCE
I’ll ask again. When was the last
time we touched base with the UNSC?
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 5.
LYLE
Yea, it’s been a while. But you
know our comms have been down for
years.
CHANCE
True. But would it kill them to
send someone to check up on us?
Ever since we lost contact, they’ve
neglected to give us any help.
They’ve left us here to rot Lyle.
