Recent Instability in MCC?

I have to throw my hands down on this one right now as I have for the last week been experiencing unusual instability on the game.

In Halo 3 when up against PC players (I play on Xbox) I sometimes face what can best be described as framerate drop when getting close to them. The game just slows down and stutters but nothing indicates its due to lag as the game moves as normal.

In Halo Reach I experience a host migration that only affects me, and this ONLY in Reach. It happens in about 2/4 matches I play.

Halo CE and Halo 2 as well as Halo 4 runs with no problem.

Haven’t played 3. But i do get random crashes on CE.

There have been stability issues for quite a while now, several months at least. The first game of h3 that I played with the new update, my game crashed halfway through. It’s quite unfortunate, it sucks having to wait another 2 months for the next update that might fix it.

Same, I got up to a 5 min ban because of this. Hasn’t stacked more than that.

Whoa, seriously? My Xbox One S just did that too, also with Halo 3…

I also have one s, I wonder if its just the game loading the new armors that’s causing it to crash. I hope it gets fixed, I don’t want to play any other halos but 3 right now. I’ve been in the groove with it.

This was an issue since at least the Dec. 2020 patch release that seems to have been exasperated by the Season 5 patch.

Really unacceptable, imo. I literally never crashed in the original 360 version. I can’t even recall a single CTD, let alone my entire console shutting down.

Consoles crashing at the start or mid match at least once every time I play. Some will just crash the game, other times my whole system will shut down. Seems like a major issue that isn’t being treated as such.

I have stopped playing Halo 3, its the main reason for crashing to me.
