Sup guys, haven’t posted on the newish forums yet so hope this is a good place.
Anyways, anyone else feel like they’re just getting dunked on lately? I’m trying to play more consistently now that schools all said and done (graduation yay) and some weapons just feel like they got tweaked or something.
AR feels completely off for some reason now and my pistol game is lacking too.
Lately I’ve just been getting my butt handed to me. I’ve been playing 5 since launch and almost always go positive no problem. Might be in a rut. Buddy of mine suggested SWAT until I really get comfortable with aiming again.
Any advice?
The long standing golden rule of Halo 5 “consistency is all in the mind.” With that being said, yeah man I don’t know its like they turned up the level of difficulty as a way of punishment for calling out all the crap in the game…or latency has been absurdly bad lately.

You could play a few warm up games in HWZFF. Yes, those aren’t spartans/players, obviously, but if you need to get a feel for the controls and aiming, that’s a good place to start.
To address the AR issue, evidently it was said that it would be tweaked in an upcoming update, not sure if it’s happened yet though. As for magnum game, FFA may help, but you may also get discouraged too if you continue to be lackluster. I agree with previous post that playing HWZFF before any matchmaking is the best route. You don’t have to worry about CSR that way too.
That happens to me every once in a while. Maybe go into Octagon for a few rounds.
It’s most likely a rut. We all get them, not a big deal. Just play until you start rekting again.
You could be matching with poor server connections. I find I can review a given film and it actually appears as though the shooter is dealing less damage with the same weapon as their opponent. In reality, some of the shots just aren’t counting even though it looks like the player was hit. Maybe change your search settings and opt for the best connection and see if that helps.
