Receiving error 0x80070005 when trying to install

I got my invite to the MCC Insider program but I’m having trouble even installing it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times but it just keeps giving me error code 0x80070005, can anyone help?

hey OP, i found a solution to our problem:

Okay the problem is that I updated my email in my main windows 10 user profil and stuff, it created kind of “new user” but i cant remove it from windows 10, kind of a bug.

So I created a new Windows 10 admin user account, then downloaded Xbox Insider Hub and everything is working well.

Guess we have to make a fresh instal of windows if you switched your email like me for microsoft store to work properly.

I can now also connect to Xbox game Bar in my new Windows 10 profil, something I couldnt do anymore on my previous Windows 10 user profil.

Thanks for your reply and sorry to bump an old thread but i am currently having the same issue described above and it all makes sense if it has to do with what savegame is linked to what profile but can i ask where you got this information so i can look more into it please.

I don’t really know what’s going exactly but the easiest way to fix it as I said is to create a new windows 10 user and everything will/should work perfectly :slight_smile: !

Closing this off as it relates to an older flight, also as the current flight has now ended
