Receiving Data....................................

On H5, anytime I try to get REQs in Warzone, See my forge maps, or even look at custom gametypes, I get this Receiving Data message that never goes away. Xbox says my internet is good, so is it a H5 server prob?

Been having the same problem for the last several weeks…makes the game unplayable

Unfortanely I’ve been experiencing the same problem and more. Not even a couple days after receiving and beginning to play the game, I have consistently dealt with these extremely aggravating problems in online matchmaking. My broadband connection is flawless and have tried every troubleshooting tip provided by 343 and Xbox. Please fix or guide me to the appropiate solution for the listed issues below, as I am a long devoted Halo fan who has never had to put up with this degree of failure and inadequacy on any halo platform for this period of time.

  • No Requisition functionality whatsoever. Every attempt is left at a loading screen stating “Receiving Data”. Trust me, that Data train has derailed long down the tracks. - No Boost Pack functionality whatsoever. They’re just…NOT THERE! - No Player Information in lobby of an online matchmaking game. They all appear as generic red bots until in game. Weird? - No ability to leave the lobby of an online matchmaking game. Once you’re in, you’re in for good. Unless I exit the entire Halo 5 game. RIDICULOUS. - No post multiplayer match making information. I get stuck waiting on that same God dang “Receiving Data” derailed train. Sigh,

I have had this issue from time to time. It usually happens when I try to start the game when the Xbox had went to sleep. I have to close the game completely and restart it. One time I had to restart my router. I tested the MP connection and it seemed fine But when I looked into the data stats, the connection was like .10kb/sec. But I would not have known if I had not checked and I am hard wired. My PC is hardwired and its connection to the same router was fine. But I restarted the router snd XB1 and it was fine after that.

Hard reset works for me. This sometimes happens to me when I leave the game and use other live services, like HBO, when I go back to h5, I may get that message, so I restart my box.

Weird, never happens to me.

Haven’t. I get this message at least 3 times a week… which means no stats tracked, no REQ’s earned… very frustrating. I shall try this hard reset.
