Received half creds from challenge because of cap

First time posting in the forums so sorry if I haven’t done this correctly!

Ive been playing reach non stop for the last few days and I finally reached 700 kills for the weekly challenge of “All in a weeks work”. It was supposed to award me 30,343 credits but because I reached the credit cap (which was 120,000 apparently) I only received 17,500 credits. Will I get the other 12,843 credits once the cap resets or did I just loose thousands because of the limit?

I think you won’t be given the rest because the system already registered the challenge as complete and the reward as given. As far as I know, there’s no system in place to keep track of unrewarded credits due to the cap. It sucks the cap doesn’t account for situations like this though. I get why it’s in place and it’s a good thing, but the system should have allowed challenges to bypass the cap or the game should have had some sort of message which would let the player know they won’t get all their credits.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah that does make a lot of sense. It’s pretty annoying because I simply restarted reach and I was able to start receiving credits again.

It would appear that they have reset so if you manage to do the weekly again you should get all your credits on top of what you already earned!
