Statistics speak for themselves, Halo 3 retained many players for a long period of time, contrary to Halo Reaches record; so what made Reach such a huge failure? I’m revisiting that question myself, looking back upon my own solid 2 years on Halo 3, and maybe a solid 6 months on Reach. If Halo 4 wants to be a big hit, 343 is going to have to bring innovation, but leave any form of Reach out of the equation.

Armor lock
Armor abilities in general
Ranking system
Melee system
Goofy armor effects
Broken file sharing
Broken film veiwing
Non double EXP zombies/ grifball playlists
Boring forge templates
Overpowered power weapons
Forge-shipped maps
Lackluster campaign
The list goes on and on. All of these are opinions that the majority share, and if not addressed, Halo 4 will be a guaranteed failure. SO, what is there to say that hasn’t already been said? Nothing, just thought I’d refresh 343’s memory along with mine and type it and put it on a forum. Good luck!
