As the title above states.
It’s very sad that the Hyabusa armor variant has become extinct. I think it would be really neat to see many variants of it appear in REQ cards in future Updates. Maybe include it with more content to make it bulkier instead of having just the armor variants? Maps themed around Hyabusa, suggest origin of the Shinobi armor ran parallel with the Hyabusa as rival projects? They could make it really special.

Hayabusa was a licensed property. 343/Microsoft do not own the rights to it. It is not coming back.

Oh dang. I had no idea at all. Well, thanks for the info!
As a Ninja Gaiden and Halo fan, I say hell yes.
However it all comes down to licencing from Team Ninja/Tecmo Koei, so while never say never, it’s very, very unlikely. If there’s going to be some cross-promotion, I feel it’s likely to come in the form of Killer Instinct due to Arby’s recent appearance in that.

If it were to return. It need to be hard to obtain otherwise it will be a new thing that that not to many people will care about. Something like. Get Lone Wolf achievement, find a few secret switches inside multiplayer maps only visible in multiplayer matches, and a couple 1 a month or year things
