I mostly want this implemented in H4 because I’m not sure if it will have the similar layout that I’m so used to, which is recon. I’m aware it will be in the game, but I havent played it, so I’m uninformed to how some things will work ( crouching and sprinting comes to mind ) because there are only so many buttons on a controller. Another reason is that when I play another game (usually switching between Reach and 3) I press the wrong button causing me to lose a firefight. example being me throwing a grav-lift when I mean to switch to my stickies to throw at a clear target.
In fact, I think button rebinding should be a standard in video games as a whole, but I want your guys opinions on this.
Customizable/rebindable controls, have been suggested many times, and by many people, and it’s very supported by people in the community. Rather or not it’s in Halo 4’s final build, I have no clue, all of the panel questions have never asked if this feature is in or not, and I haven’t heard or read any news on the feature.
> Frankie has said that they won’t be able to test every control layout for exploits, so it will most likely not be in the game. D:
This has been said. And different buttons have different pressure amounts and the amount of time it takes to press said button (b over x) is different so they can’t include it b/c it creates disadvantages
