Reaver vs Wolverine

I conducted a test to see how much hp the Reaver received vs the Wolverine with vehicle upgrades and this is what I found.

Reaver. Vehicle upgrade 1=no hp, Vehicle upgrade 2=increased hp, vehicle upgrade 3=no hp…Why only vehicle upgrade 2 does it receive hp?

Wolverine. Vehicle upgrade 1=increased hp, Vehicle upgrade 2=increased hp, Vehicle upgrade 3=no hp…Why doesnt it receive hp at level 3?
Im not understanding why upgrades only work for certain levels but not for other when it comes to increased hp, so if anyone has a explanation id be all ears.

Also something to note. Reavers take 19s to build and Wolverines only take 14s. Can we decrease Reaver build time so its a little quicker to react to air units?

I think reavers are slightly better than wolverines so a slightly longer build time is okay.

If that HP thing you talking about is true, its most likely yet another oversight from the devs…

what i am even more worried about is what else is there to find out?

Well reavers have more damage output then wolverines (if I’m not mistaken) plus they have that pounce ability while wolverines have no Y ability. So I guess that evens everything out. I never knew about that health thing though. That’s weird.

Lol brah! Brah!
its a double negative.
u said reavers out dps wolverines but reaver have Y ability so its balances out.

It’s not a double negative because he’s talking on relation to how long it takes to train a reaver vs a Wolverine.

Strange, because each global upgrade says that it increases attack AND health.

This game has been glitchy and messed up since launch. I wouldnt be surprised if some upgrades do nothing or half what they are suppose to

Reavers definitely seem better, so having Wolverines train quicker and receive slightly different HP bonus may work itself out.

Regardless, going from Banished to UNSC isn’t a simple reskinning; there are differences between the two that make them play differently. Some differences greater or more noticeable than others.

Wolverines > Reavers. Reavers slow to build & are weak, unless fighting banshees. Hornets & nightingales crush Reavers…

Yes II Blaky II took the words out my mouth lol. Besides, if I’m not mistaken, aren’t wolverines 4 population while the reaver is 5 population? Another way it balances out.

So I guess this is a glitch then? I have not seen any good feedback on these forums addressing this… is it even worth posting if devs or officials wont comment on the issue of upgrades?

I have not even tested dps so who even knows if thats affected by upgrades as well… so many questions and not enough feedback.

Guess ill just go back to halo wars 1 and cryo canny glitch nubs until all these issues are addressed/fixed.

Not every vehicle/infantry upgrade upgrade is going to show more hp bars.

Reavers have 4
Vehicle “I” is + 10% +10%

Not a single unit in the game will add “10% more of a bar”

In testing, the health and damage is added without changing the OUTSIDE appearance of the health bar.
Getting vehicle “II” is +20%
Thats a total of 30%!!!
Reavers had 4 bars before and 25% would be a “5th” bar"
The hp and damage are just added secretly if a full bar cannot be added.

Wolverines get the extra outside appearance of a health bar at vehicle “I” because they start with like 8-10.

Everyone is complaining and doesn’t look at the real concept.

Not a glitch
Not a bug
Test it yourself
The hitpoints bars are added based on the starting hp bars of “such unit”

If it starts with 3, it will gain a 4th at “II”

3 bars
33%
33%
33%

Vehicle I + II = 30%
4th bar added

The HP is added. I suggest taking a look at time to kill and not UI.

It’s not a glitch. It’s how the game was built to show “balance”
