Hello. I have been a Halo player on xbox for 12 years and have always stopped playing in qualifiers for the same two reasons:
Halo’s multiplayer has always fared poorly. You randomly and alternately enter games where you kill everyone very easily and others where it doesn’t matter what you do because you die just as easily even playing with the same people. The Halo markers were always ridiculous and we keep seeing the 5-50, 50-11 markers. That’s why I never play qualifiers, because this performance weighs on the team’s result. In addition, playing with USA / EU teams is absurd, it is when this problem is created the most (America first as Trump said). This was happening in Halo 20 years ago and continues to happen now.
Players who leave the game and the PASSIVITY of many players also weigh down the final result. So I play socially and when people don’t move or drop out, I’m going too, I don’t like them doing an absurd massacre with me.
I never quit. Even if I am getting absolutely demolished and my team mates start having a go at me for poor performance (doesn’t happen often but occasionally everyone just has a bad game)
These are the facts though:
I don’t choose my opponents or team mates.
I always try my best, so if I am getting demolished, I am trying not to get demolished.
As we climb ranks, our opposition will get harder so games become tougher. I’ve started playing against high diamond ranked players and these players can play.
Ultimately, it’s just a game, even if it is ranked, it’s still just a game, life goes on win or lose.
