Hi fellow Spartans,
please give me some reasons why i should buy the campaign if they are already included in the game pass.
I bought every Halo til this day ( besides FT Raven ) but i dont see any cherrys on it for buying it.
Hi fellow Spartans,

I bought it outright as it’s a game I’ll still be playing for years so to me it’s worth it.
I’m switching back to live gold anyway, as wasn’t really playing enough games on gamepass to justify me paying an extra 120 a year.
If you intend to stay subscribed to Game Pass, I wouldn’t buy the game at all & instead consider buying it when it goes on sale in the future if you want to permanently own it.
The game will forever be on Game Pass so you can enjoy it as much as you desire, spend the money you would’ve used on something else, perhaps even invest that money into the Infinite batlle pass & store if you like that stuff.
To play offline and not to worry about API/Infrastructure problems that could be intermittent. Those are incredibly situational though.
I just wanted the steel book honestly. Beyond the notion of physically owning it, there’s not much benefit unless you just want to show 343 more support.
Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I believe you can only play gamepass titles if you are connected to the internet as well.
I was wondering about this. I’ve not seen any collectors edition that interests me enough. Is the install faster on Series X with a disc?
They don’t want you to buy it dude its a service game.
They want you on gp.
Only reason I can think is if you have terrible Internet and want to play campaign online.
Totalwar no install is faster than preload. Especially when a DOP is likely.
I think that the fact you get the same deal for buying it and getting it through game pass is kinda the idea, at least for Microsoft at least. If means that people can get the same experience for buying it for £45 as they can with getting it for free through game pass.
It’s a dead shame yet I think that’s the reality of it.
As others have said, good reason to own it is to show support. I’ll be spending some money on day one cosmetics such as the eSports stuff and battle pass instead.
I may pick up a disc copy of the game in the future, but if I’m playing my Xbox I’ll be subscribed to game pass. It is an awesome feature and I will support it as long as it continues to pump out high quality games on day one.
For most people, yes a disc install will be much faster unless you have fios.
i have none, i´ll wait until the HYPE goes down and prices lower, I want to see the Steelcase first and maybe if I get a chance a legendary edition or something like that
Hey, it’s your money. Do what you will. But if you are already paying for Game Pass, there’s no reason to buy the game, in my opinion.
The whole point of GamePass is that you don’t need to buy the games on the service.
Halo Infinite doesn’t have any incentive to buy a copy unless you want a cosmetic from select retailers.
If you’ve got GamePass then just play it on GamePass, there’s not really much more to it than that.
Once co-op is restored, I’ll buy a disc on sale for one of my spare consoles. That plus a pile of Gold trial codes means there’ll always be co-op campaign ready to go on two consoles.
I had the same thoughts since I got game-pass with the series X for 2 years. I ended up pre-ordering the steel book anyways.
If you’re a grizzled ancient like me, then you know life happens. If not immediately, possibly in the near future (marriage, kids, college, BIG life events, etc.) I wanted the security knowing I can pop a disc in and play at any time in the future. Would it be cheaper in the future? probably. Will you enjoy the steel-book on display as much as you will when the game launches? probably not.
The only real incentive is offline play.
Personally I’m just getting it on Game Pass and spending on just the first season, it’s going to be the cheapest Halo release ever!
The easiest answer is, they could take it off game pass at any point if they feel like it and then you’d be out 20 bucks and another 60.
I don’t see that ever happening, to remove a first party title from the service is to basically imply the end of the service itself which won’t happen given the investments made into it from Microsoft.
