Playing players not in my rank? For some odd reason, when I try to play Team Arena as a P6, I get matched against Onyx’s… How am I supposed to rank up if I’m constantly playing against good players but playing with Plats…
Team Arena Rotation… As much as 343 might love their game type Assault, me and probably everyone doesn’t. By far the worst game mode to be included in a Ranked playlist, so please… remove it. Same goes for the maps Overgrowth, Riptide and Torque (Haven’t played Tyrant, so I can’t judge). Simple solution to all these problems, just use the HWC playlist… (amount of dots indicate how obvious I thought 343 would think to do this).
STOP, yes stop, messing with adding new weapons. I don’t want to play Strongholds Riptide with this stupid rocket launcher that kills me when I’m 10 ft away from it. Same goes with grenade spawns, theres too many. Trigger happy players spamming grenades around every corner is no fun.
Can there be some solution to the whole EU players playing on NA servers? For some reason NA players start playing from 1pm GMT which is like 8am in the US… no jobs or education to get to? like hello? I return from college at 5pm GMT which it then is practically impossible to find an EU server to play on where shooting a mag of bullets in an enemies skull doesn’t mean anything.
That’s all the points I can think of. Servers, Maps, Modes and weapons. Just put it back to the January update, I was totslly fine with the January update. Thanks 343 <3
Finally a UK player who understands how much the EU players and non American players are at a disadvantage.
And you are right that unbalanced teams are frequent on matchmaking and it destroys the rankings of players who dont deserve it. It needs to be sorted properly.
yeah I’ve had a lot of games recently where the ranks are far off and hardly even for both teams as a whole. One recent game I was in ended 50-12 because the other team had 2 onyx and a diamond, whereas I was the highest in my team at plat 4!
yeah I absolutely hate assault! I don’t find it enjoyable in the slightest, whereas with CTF and Strongholds I do. Would rather have Oddball, although I do get that Oddball could just be down to whichever team can hide the best(?)
personally I disagree regarding the grenades
yep, only half my games are ‘fair’ in that sense and for the ones that aren’t it just ends up a game of frustration.
Aside from your first issue (player ranks not matching up), I’m not feeling you on this one. I have been pretty happy with Arena and, although I’ve only played it once so far, LOVE the new map (Tyrant)!

Fair enough as your its your opinion, but I guess you’re from NA? Only really EU players will understand the current problems I mentioned about servers.

Not really. The things I mentioned are the 4 top problems for an EU player (mostly). If you’re not from outside NA then you won’t know what I mean. It’s absurd how the servers run. From a competitive stand point. I just feel they need to focus more on balancing the maps they currently have then making new ones.

I agree, if a player leaves, there should be more punishment, like they automatically drop a Rank. its only fair. But whether something like this would actually happen is unlikely.
I can understand your frustration. However removing content is not making progress. We only have limited content and I’d rather not see less of it. As far as your comment about how North Americans have not jobs or education, this comment is not necessary. Your issue is with 343 not NA. So keep that nonsense to yourself. I’m from NA and you don’t see me posting discriminatory comments about other nations. That’s very disrespectful and I only hope that moderators will notice that and take it into account.

Agree with point one if was fine a few months ago but they changed it and made it looser now you get wrecked by folk well above your tier it’s really putting me off Arena.
It depends. NA have a huge server advantage against eu players, which is annoying for us, but not NAs fault.
For FFA the spawns can decide matches far too often. Half the time the player in last with only 6 kills in a match has been royally blammed over by the spawns. Not to say there is no skill, but more it presents itself in ranks over several matches. This mode has the most problems to me. Hence why so few players play it.
For team games it depends. Bad teammates can be avoided by joining a spartan company. But bad spawns still persist and some maps wildly favour certain teams eg. Red team in Pegasus. SWAT however CAN but not always be decided by server proximity affecting headshot registration.
But to me the derankers deliberately getting lower ranks cause the greatest problems, other than the servers. These people really need banning for an entire season to teach them a lesson cos they spoil the game for everyone.

You’ll actually find I was questioning whether they had any job to get to. Not saying they don’t have them. I’m just replying with the attitude of all the NA players that have messaged me calling me bad because I’m forced to play on an NA server. I think my comments were well above fair. So please re-read my post before you make any false accusations <3
I played tyrant at least 6 times in 5 hours while never playing the rig or collesium. Please give us a veto it vote every single game has this. Halo is great but what makes it above normal simple things every other game does.

I feel this, and have experienced similar issues, we’ll said and doesn’t need to be fixed.
