Looking at the past, Halo games are usually released two years apart. Considering how other game developers usually follow an annual schedule (wether it be a spin-off game of the same franchise), maybe we will see a Season 2 around the year mark of Halo 4’s release. Doing some research, it looks like it’s pretty time consuming to create these episodes, so a year after release seems sensible, especially since the map packs will be done (as far as we know) in April. If you look at the formula for some other AAA titles, they usually don’t go longer than a full year without something new. So I think in lieu of an annual release of another Halo game, a Season 2 would be logical to take its place. What do you guys think?

Its only season 1 of spartan ops and map packs that are done, stop saying that map packs are done just because 343 announced 3 packs doesn’t mean they announced all of them, they were being worked on from before release, I bet they have a ton of others being worked on right now.

I hope there is a second season. I would have been surprised if they had announced one today though. I think they are going to settle down and focus on maximizing the MM experience over the next few months
