I’ve been thinking why do people under req a lot in games and for my self I noticed its when I’m sick of using the req menu. I wonder if others do it for the same reason.
Going through the loadouts is tedious that occasionally I just don’t bother to upgrade or do anything different. - Looking for a req I want is confusing because it doesn’t feel organised in a sensible order. The simple line graphic for the weapons also is very confusing to look at maybe it’s because of dislexia with all of those weapons it feels like they are scattered all over the place.I think if the weapons were colored it wouldn’t be so confusing cause normally when I am confused I can feel my instincts looking for the color more than the shape. or just better organised. Bookmarks would help also.
Also not being able to delete reqs fast means I can’t cut them down to ease the confusion.
Navigating the REQs is tedious, especially when you’re in-game.
But, I think one other major factor (the one I feel the most), is the fear of wasting a REQ. What if I use this Legendary weapon (that I only have one of) and die a minute after I spawn? (It’s happened enough times to be a concern).
In the most recent game I played, I did a Rare Random Weapon and got the Halo CE Pistol. I was really excited to use it … until the next enemies appeared – Banshee raiders.
It was completely useless, but I figured I’d hold on to it and save it for the next round… Until I got fuel rodded seconds later. A waste. And that kind of thing happens all the time.
I don’t care much for Warzone and I hate REQ packs, so recently I’ve been trying to use a bunch of REQs just for fun, and (maybe I just suck) but that kind of thing happens a lot. There’s just too many players, too many vehicles, too much chaos to really do much damage with any weapon. You die too quickly for it to be worth it.
I honestly contemplate just selling all my REQs and trying to get some armor instead. But, it’s a tough gamble. That’s why I hate the REQ system. It’s completely based on luck and you can’t work toward what you really want, you just have to wait and hope you get lucky. It’s awful.
