Don’t betray your team mates. If you betray them, you have a high possibility of being banned. So yes…really.
One game of Warzone I called in a Railgun, and before my first round fired, a teammate jumped in front of me and got me killed. I got booted by the game for “Unnatural Suicides.”
The whole betrayal/suicide/idling system is garbage in Halo 5.
Pretty easy solution, don’t betray

Lesson is learned. Don’t betray your teammates in halo 5 or you can get booted… even if you betray a teammate on accident.

There is a LOT going on in this game for many people. So it clearly was a few minute delay. Some penalties will happen quickly, others will take longer. Keep in mind it has to process data and calculate a pattern recognition algorithm for thousands of people betraying, AFK, or quitting. I am actually really impressed how fast some of these bans are going out.

the game is never over!! lol but yea that sucks, I used to do that all the time. I also dont like how the dead cam doesnt stay anymore so people can see the teabagging
EDIT: talking about instant respawns in SWAT which cuts out the dead cam

It is a delay, not a bug. You should READ the other replies too before posting. This was answered above.

Sucks, but…what’s the point in betraying your teammate after the game? Whatever the reason, it sounds like you could just not do that and be ok. Unless it was an accident, then I understand your frustration.
EDIT: Maybe I read OP wrong…was thinking you did the whole “shoot teammates in between the match’s end and the post-game lobby” thing.

Except that’s not what he said and that’s not what is happening. You can get booted from games by betraying your teammates after it says game over. The game counts killing your teammates after it says game over still as betrayals. No other game did this and halo 5 shouldn’t either. It’s a bug. Sorry to burst your bubble.
